2026 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
490 hp · 0-60 in 2.9 sec* · 194 mph* · Coupe & Convertible · Starting at $71,995*
Seven decades of American performance heritage. A mid-engine layout that reshaped what a Corvette could do. Three trims, two body styles, one naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 that has no equal at its price. The 2026 Stingray is available at Dave Gill Chevrolet in Columbus.
When Chevrolet moved the Corvette's engine to a mid-mounted position for the C8 generation, it fundamentally changed how the car handles. By placing the 6.2L V8 behind the driver, weight distribution shifted toward the rear — improving traction off the line, sharpening corner entry, and creating a car that feels planted at speeds where most sports cars begin to feel unstable.
The result is a naturally aspirated V8 that pulls to 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, channeled through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that delivers power with a precision and speed that a traditional automatic cannot match. With the Z51 Performance Package and its tuned exhaust, output climbs to 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft — and 0-60 drops to 2.9 seconds on a closed course.

What's New for 2026
A Redesigned Interior That Matches the Exterior's Ambition
The most significant change for the 2026 Corvette Stingray is inside. Chevrolet redesigned the center console area to remove the long row of climate control buttons that previously divided the cabin. Those controls now live below the main infotainment screen — a more logical placement that also frees up the center console for a proper passenger grab handle. The result is a cockpit that feels cleaner, more purposeful, and more driver-focused than any previous Stingray interior.
12.7" Touchscreen
Larger than the previous generation. Climate controls relocated here, freeing up the console. Google built-in, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto all standard.
6.6" Auxiliary Screen
New for 2026 — a secondary touchscreen mounted next to the steering wheel for quick access to auxiliary functions without reaching across the cabin.
Passenger Grab Handle
Replaces the former climate button bank on the center console — a cleaner layout and a practical addition for high-performance driving with a passenger.
USB-C & 14" Cluster
New USB-C port on the passenger side. The 14-inch digital gauge cluster provides a full performance data view directly in the driver's sight line.
Two Body Styles
Coupe or Convertible — Both Are the Real Thing
Stingray Coupe
Removable Targa-style roof panel · Body rigidity advantages at high speeds · Available in all three trim levels · Starting from $71,995*
The coupe's Targa roof can be stored in the front trunk — leaving the top-out open-air experience available without sacrificing cargo space.
Stingray Convertible
Power retractable hardtop · Operates in approximately 16 seconds · Functional at speed · Available in all three trim levels · Starting from $78,995*
The Corvette convertible uses a retractable hardtop — not a soft top — preserving the car's lines when closed and delivering true open-air driving when open.
