Plug Into Peace of Mind

As a new Chevrolet EV owner — Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Silverado EV, or Bolt — you've made a significant investment in your electric future. The Chevrolet EV Protection Plan provides additional coverage specifically designed for electric vehicle systems, endorsed by Chevrolet and backed by General Motors.

EV systems differ from gas-powered vehicles — battery management, charging electronics, drive units, and associated components require coverage tailored to how EVs actually work. This plan is designed around that reality.

Financial Protection
GAP Coverage
Chevrolet GAP Coverage at Dave Gill Chevrolet Columbus Ohio
Protect Against the Gap Between What You Owe and What Insurance Pays

If your vehicle is declared a total loss — whether from an accident, theft, or other covered event — your insurance company pays out the vehicle's current market value. But if you owe more on your finance agreement than the vehicle is currently worth, there is a gap. Without coverage, you pay that difference out of pocket.

GAP Coverage can help by waiving some or all of that difference, including your deductible. It is particularly valuable in the first few years of ownership when vehicles depreciate fastest and loan balances are highest.

Example: Your vehicle is totaled. You owe $28,000 on your loan. Insurance pays $23,000 (current market value). Without GAP, you pay the $5,000 difference. With GAP Coverage, that difference is waived.

Road Hazard Coverage
Tire & Wheel Protection
Chevrolet Tire and Wheel Protection Plan at Dave Gill Chevrolet Columbus Ohio
No Deductible. Real Coverage for Ohio Roads.

Columbus roads — especially after Ohio winters — are hard on tires and wheels. Potholes, frost heaves, nails, and road debris can damage a tire or wheel in an instant. Tire and Wheel Protection covers the repair or replacement of tires or wheels damaged by covered road hazards with no deductible.

A single tire or wheel replacement can cost $200 to $600 or more depending on the vehicle. On a set of large-diameter wheels — the type found on LTZ or High Country trucks, or performance-trim SUVs — the exposure is higher. This coverage is worth a serious look.

The Chevrolet Protection Plan is an optional vehicle service contract that provides additional coverage on top of your manufacturer's limited warranty. It offers three tiers — Powertrain, Silver, and Platinum — covering up to 1,500 parts depending on the plan. It can be added at time of vehicle purchase or any time up to 8 years or 100,000 miles. Call (614) 626-7182 for pricing and details.

A limited warranty is included with a new vehicle purchase, covers warrantable repairs for a specified time or mileage, transfers to subsequent owners, and cannot be cancelled. A vehicle service contract (protection plan) is an optional add-on, covers failure of specific parts, can be purchased up to 8 years or 100,000 miles, may be transferred, and can be cancelled.

GAP Coverage helps protect you if your vehicle is declared a total loss. When that happens, insurance pays the current market value — but if you owe more than that on your loan, you pay the difference out of pocket. GAP Coverage can waive some or all of that gap, including your deductible. It is particularly valuable in the first few years of ownership when depreciation is fastest.

Tire and Wheel Protection covers repair or replacement of tires or wheels damaged by covered road hazards — potholes, nails, debris, and similar hazards — with no deductible. Given Columbus road conditions especially after Ohio winters, this coverage is worth serious consideration for any new Chevrolet.

Pre-Paid Maintenance locks in today's service prices for scheduled oil changes and tire rotations during the coverage period, performed by Chevrolet Certified technicians. It is worth considering if you plan to keep your vehicle for several years and want predictable maintenance costs. Call (614) 626-7182 and we'll compare current pricing against your expected service schedule.

Yes. The Chevrolet Protection Plan vehicle service contract can be added to new, pre-owned, or leased vehicles up to 8 years or 100,000 miles.
