If your GMC is declared a total loss, your insurance pays out the vehicle's current market value. But if you owe more on your finance agreement than that payout, you cover the difference out of pocket. GMC GAP Coverage can waive some or all of that gap — including your deductible.

Example: Your Sierra is totaled. You owe $45,000. Insurance pays $38,000. Without GAP, you pay the $7,000 difference. With GAP Coverage, that difference is waived.

GAP may be transferred within 30 days of the covered vehicle's resale or lease assumption, subject to a $50 transfer fee.

GMC Tire and Wheel Protection covers the repair or replacement of tires or wheels damaged by covered road hazards with no deductible.

For GMC truck and SUV owners running large-diameter wheels — Sierra Denali, Yukon Denali, AT4 — a single wheel replacement can run $500 or more. Available at the time of vehicle purchase or when a new covered tire is purchased.

The standard Pre-Paid Maintenance plan covers oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections. Pre-Paid Maintenance Plus adds cabin air filter, engine air filter, brake fluid, and windshield wiper blade replacement on top of those items. Both are performed by GMC Certified Service technicians at Dave Gill Chevrolet.
