Buying from a private seller puts all the risk on you. There is no inspection, no financing help, no trade-in option, and no one to call if something goes wrong after the sale. At Dave Gill Chevrolet you get:

      +
BS-Free Pricing - The price you see online is the real price. No haggling required and no surprise fees at the finish line.
      +

      +
Financing on the Spot - We work with multiple lenders to get you a competitive rate regardless of your credit situation.
      +
Trade-In Accepted - Bring your current vehicle and we will make you a fair offer on the spot, which can reduce the amount you need to finance.
      +
GM-Certified Service On Site - After your purchase, our service department is right here whenever your vehicle needs maintenance or repairs.

You can research pricing online before you visit and use our Pick Your Payment tool to understand exactly what your monthly cost will be before stepping foot in the showroom.

Both have genuine advantages. The right choice depends on your budget, priorities, and how long you plan to keep the vehicle:

      DepreciationAlready happenedStarts at purchase
      Insurance CostUsually lowerUsually higher

Not sure which direction is right for you? Our team will walk you through both options honestly and help you decide based on your actual situation - not a sales quota.

For many buyers, a quality pre-owned vehicle is simply the smarter financial decision:

      +
Lower Purchase Price - You get more vehicle for your money. A two or three-year-old model with low mileage can cost significantly less than the same vehicle brand new.
      +
Slower Depreciation - New vehicles lose a significant portion of their value in the first year. With a used vehicle, that initial drop has already happened and the value holds more steadily.
      +
Lower Insurance Premiums - Insurance costs are typically lower on used vehicles because the replacement value is lower.
      +
Lower Monthly Payments - A lower purchase price generally means a lower monthly payment, which can free up room in your budget for other priorities.

Whether you shop with us or anywhere else, here are the key things to check before committing to a used vehicle:

      +
Vehicle History - Always request a vehicle history report. Look for past accidents, number of previous owners, and whether the title is clean.
      +
Mileage vs. Age - High mileage on a newer vehicle can mean heavy use. Low mileage on an older vehicle is generally a good sign as long as it has been properly maintained.
      +
Tires and Brakes - Check tire tread depth and ask about the condition of the brake pads and rotors. These are relatively quick indicators of how the vehicle has been maintained.
      +
Rust and Body Condition - Check under the vehicle, inside the wheel wells, and around door frames. Surface rust is common but deep structural rust is a red flag.
      +
Test Drive - Always drive the vehicle before buying. Listen for unusual noises, check that all electronics and features work, and pay attention to how it handles and brakes.

With CarBravo vehicles at Dave Gill Chevrolet, the inspection work has already been done. But we are always happy to walk you through any vehicle's history and condition in detail before you decide.

Yes. Dave Gill Chevrolet carries pre-owned electric and hybrid vehicles as part of our used inventory. A pre-owned EV can be a great way to get into electric driving at a significantly lower price than buying new, and many still have meaningful range and useful remaining battery life. Browse our pre-owned EV and hybrid inventory online.

The easiest way to start is to browse our CarBravo inventory online and filter by the make, model, price range, and mileage that fits your needs.
