Similarly, the Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking will engage when crossing a busy intersection. If the system detects a vehicle about to cross your path, the brakes will engage so you can avoid a collision, keeping you and your family safe.

One of the most common ways that people get injured in accidents is by not wearing their seatbelts. The new 2024 Traverse has a Buckle-to-Drive feature that will not allow you to put your vehicle into gear unless you and the front seat passenger are buckled. This is in addition to the standard Rear Seat Belt Reminder that will continue to sound until the passengers in the second and third row of your Traverse have buckled their belts as well.
