The final engine option on the 2023 Silverado 1500 is a 6.2L EcoTec3 V8. This beast produces an astounding 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque; it, too, can tow up to 13,300 lbs. This engine is available on the Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country models, though it comes standard on the Silverado 1500 ZR2. Each of the nine Silverado 1500 models has standard set of wheels and tires. For example, the WT rides on a set of 17-inch all-season blackwall tires wrapped around 17-inch ultra silver painted steel wheels. However, if you plan to outfit your WT for the trail, you can get a set of all-terrain or mud-terrain tires. You can also upgrade to larger 18-inch aluminum wheels.
This is also the case with higher trims. The 2023 Silverado 1500 LTZ comes with a set of 20-inch sterling silver wheels with 20-inch all-season blackwall tires. If you want more grip and traction, you can choose to upgrade to all-terrain tires. Similarly, if you want your LTZ truck to stand out, you can opt for one of several wheel choices, including 22-inch six-spoke chrome wheels or six-spoke black wheels with machined accents.
